Danish company Søren Enggaard A/S sold a large housing project in Steinbeck, a new Aalborg neighbourhood near the city's largest sports and event centre, the Gigantium, to US multinational investment company BlackRock.
The housing project consists of 272 housing units, comprising six tower blocks, and 16 terraced houses, and it is central to the overall urban development plan for the area. Its considerable scale and architectural design makes it an outstanding addition to the southern district of the city of Aalborg.
Among the largest property sales in the Danish market in 2025
As one of the largest transactions in the Danish market this year, it was handled as a single property sale that also included a corporate structure and financing model.
HaugaardBraad assisted Søren Enggaard A/S with legal advice during the entire property development phase, from acquisition of the land, and the development and construction of the housing units and until the final conveyance of the housing project to BlackRock.
The project was managed by attorneys Michael Møller Pedersen and Katrine Dons Kvottrup.
