Profile

Jacob is an assistant attorney at HaugaardBraad specialising in public law with a particular focus on environmental law.

He was deeply engaged in planning and environmental law during his years with the Danish Environment and Food Board of Appeal and the Danish Town and Country Planning Board of Appeal. He served on the secretariats of these boards, gaining a broad-ranging experience in aspects of legislations, such as the Danish Environmental Protection Act, the Danish Soil Contamination Act, the Danish Livestock Act and the Danish Planning Act.

In addition, Jacob was appointed deputy chairman of the Danish Environment and Food Board of Appeal in charge of matters related to the Danish Environmental Protection Act and the Danish Livestock Act. The experience gained from this work has given him an in-depth knowledge of the public processes that form the basis for the decision-making by public authorities and complaints bodies.
