Anders Braad

Profile

Anders has more than 20 years of experience in the practice areas of bankruptcy, reconstruction, agriculture, renewable energy projects, real estate – including investment properties – and business law. With his broad legal expertise and strong commercial insights, he guides clients through complex legal issues and offers strategic solutions.

Anders has been a partner of HaugaardBraad since 2008. In 2010, he was granted right of audience before the Danish High Courts, and he was appointed administrator at the Danish bankruptcy courts for bankruptcy and liquidation cases in 2011 and has been continually reappointed to this office ever since. In 2014, he became certified as an insolvency practitioner by the Association of Danish Insolvency Lawyers, and in 2019 he was nominated to the lawyers' panel of the Debt Collection Agency in North Jutland, due to his expertise in this field.

In 2021, Anders was appointed to the General Council of the Danish Bar and Law Society for all of North Jutland, and subsequently to the large new fifth circuit of the Society. The General Council of the Danish Bar and Law Society is the executive body of the Society, and Anders contributes by helping give its members direction and guidance in addition to supervising Denmark's more than 7,000 lawyers.
