Profile
Since 2008, Flemming has worked exclusively in matters of public law, municipal law, and Danish and in particular EU environmental law. His employment with the Danish Ministry of the Environment and the Danish Agriculture and Food Council gave Flemming extensive experience in working with public authorities and legislative processes as well as handling complex projects involving many stakeholders.
Flemming has been part of HaugaardBraad since 2014, advising on a number of legal aspects in connection with implementation of large infrastructure and development projects for government and municipal authorities, public corporations and large private enterprises.
His work especially focuses on complex environmental impact assessment processes involving the Strategic Environmental Assessment Directive (SEA), the Environmental Impact Assessment Directive (EIA), and the Habitats and Water Framework Directives. Flemming also provides public authorities and large enterprises with legal advice on green energy, environmental approvals and soil contamination issues.
