HaugaardBraad advises Frandsbjerg Land A/S in major agricultural property transaction
Søren Rasmussen and Frandsbjerg Land A/S have completed a major investment in a Danish agricultural property. HaugaardBraad provided legal assistance in connection with the Frandsbjerg Land company’s purchase of Ejstruplund pig fattening farms, a massive transaction involving 17 properties and a total purchase price of 147 million Danish kroner. Ejstruplund was originally offered for sale at 160 million Danish kroner.

The purchase comprised 17 agricultural properties in total with a total land area of approximately 662 hectares and 16,000 finishing pig places in several different locations. The properties are all situated in the Spøttrup area in the northern part of western Jutland and function together as a well-run production facility.

HaugaardBraad provided advice and guidance to Frandsbjerg Land through the entire process, from the legal due diligence reports and the drafting of contract documents to the land registration and conveyance.
