The sale was conducted as an open procedure in pursuance of the rules pertaining to self-governing educational institutions, which meant that special requirements applied to the planning and documentation of the sales process.

The property was sold to A. Enggaard A/S, a company planning to refurbish and design the buildings with a view to letting these to Aalborg local authorities. The future use of the buildings includes gathering the local authority’s job centre functions in one place, thus creating a better framework for employees and other users of the buildings.

We provided legal advice throughout the entire process, from the tender and negotiations to the drafting of the transfer agreement and coordination with the other parties involved.
