Spar Nord Fonden buys distinctive office building in Aalborg
One of Aalborg’s more elegant and unique office buildings has been sold to the fund Spar Nord Fonden in an off-market transaction and will serve as their future head office.

Located at the address of Strandvejen 3 in Aalborg, the office building has 513 m2 of floor space that will house the foundation’s secretariat and activities. The foundation’s executive committee wanted a prominent central location that meets the requirements of the secretariat and supports the foundation’s strong affiliation with North Jutland.
“Our executive committee prioritised setting up a base that strengthens the foundation’s engagement in North Jutland,” says the committee’s chairman, Bo Uggerhøj. “The location on Strandvejen fulfils this requirement in every way.”
The deal was conducted as an off-market transaction with HaugaardBraad acting as legal advisers to the foundation throughout the entire process from preliminary discussion and review of the contractual documents to negotiations and the future completion of the transaction.
